In this role, Ryan partners with the CIO and the Investment Committee to further Student Quarters’ investment and capital raising strategies. He also manages the firm’s lender relationships for debt placement on behalf of the portfolio.

Ryan began his career in Capital Markets at Freddie Mac then later at Fannie Mae as an Agency CMBS trader for the Multifamily desk where he managed a portfolio covering all MF asset classes, including Student Housing. Prior to Student Quarters, Ryan was Managing Director for a structured finance and risk analytics company focused on business development and strategy, and a Managing Director for an early-stage commercial real estate fintech firm.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
