Shannon is responsible for leading Student Quarters’ people and culture strategy, including cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and retention, learning and career development, and organizational training. She oversees the company’s support team, which manages training, systems & IT, recruiting, and employee experience initiatives across the organization.

With more than 17 years of experience in the student housing industry, Shannon has held a variety of leadership roles at both the on-site and corporate levels. Prior to joining Student Quarters, she served in multiple leadership positions at Cardinal Group Management from 2013 to 2020 and later founded SFive Consulting in 2020.

Shannon earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011.
