Senior Vice President, Acquisitions

As a Senior Vice President on the Acquisitions Team, Melanie focuses on growing Student Quarters’ portfolio, with high potential assets that will maximize risk-adjusted returns.

This includes, but is not limited to, identifying target markets, sourcing deals, underwriting select opportunities, and bringing awarded deals to execution.

Prior to joining Student Quarters, Melanie worked at Simpson Housing, an owner and operator of conventional multifamily assets, as Vice President of Acquisitions (2013–2019), and at Prudential Mortgage Capital Company (now PGIM) as a Senior Investment Analyst on the Loan Originations team (2010–2013).

Melanie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech.
