Breast Cancer Awareness 2023

Breaking The Mold at Student Quarters

Breast Cancer Awareness 2023

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is upon us, and at Student Quarters, we are embracing this opportunity to do more than simply raise awareness. We are committed to taking action, sharing stories, and actively contributing to the fight against breast cancer. This October, we invite you to join us in this meaningful journey as we work to increase resources, research, and support for the warriors battling breast cancer.

Our campaign to Know the Facts on social media is more than just a hashtag. We’re on a mission to make a real impact. For every share, like, or comment on our Know the Facts posts, we’ll donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Your participation can help fund mammograms, support education, and reach underserved communities. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

Across our portfolio, you’ll also find pink pumpkins decorating communities. These vibrant symbols are not just a nod to Breast Cancer Awareness Month; they are beacons of hope. Each pink pumpkin serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of those fighting breast cancer. Take a moment to appreciate these colorful tokens and remember the individuals whose lives have been touched by this disease.

Our Lunch and Learn sessions are an opportunity to connect with those who have been impacted by breast cancer. Through their stories, we gain insight into the challenges they’ve faced and the victories they’ve achieved. These sessions provide a platform for education, empathy, and understanding. Join us in these conversations, and let us be inspired to take action in our own lives.

Speaking of support, the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Wall of Support is a digital canvas where we can leave messages of hope, encouragement, and solidarity. Take a moment to share your heartfelt messages, uplifting quotes, or words of encouragement. Let those facing breast cancer know that they are not alone, and that a community of support stands strong beside them.

Finally, we invite the team to share their stories and experiences with the SQuad. Breast cancer has affected many of us directly or through our loved ones. By sharing our personal experiences, we humanize this battle and showcase the strength that emerges from adversity. These stories are a source of inspiration and connection, reminding us that we are all in this together.

“We gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month unfolds, we stand united with the rest of the nation to uplift and support the breast cancer community. Together, we can turn awareness into action, stories into hope, and words into resources. Join us in this meaningful journey, and let’s make a difference, one pink step at a time.
