Student Quarters Summer Training Camp 2025

Future Leaders Take Center Stage

At Student Quarters, we believe leadership isn’t defined by title—it’s shaped by curiosity, commitment, and courage. That’s why every summer, we invite standout team members to step out of their daily roles and into a transformative development experience in Atlanta: the Student Quarters Summer Training Camp (STC).

About the Program

STC is designed to recognize, develop, and empower the next generation of SQ leaders through a hands-on, immersive experience. Held this year from July 8–10, the camp brought together five exceptional SQuad members, each selected through a highly competitive process requiring:

  • A formal application
  • A personal video submission
  • A letter of recommendation

These rising leaders spent three days engaging with some of the brightest minds in our organization—gaining tools, insights, and connections to fuel their future at Student Quarters.

What They Experienced

Camp attendees participated in:

  • Maintenance & Asset Management Overviews – Bridging the gap between on-site roles and corporate strategy
  • Leadership Roundtables – With access to senior leaders across the organization
  • Vision-Setting with our President & CEO – An intimate opportunity to hear firsthand where Student Quarters is headed

The result? A clear, empowering perspective on how every role contributes to our mission—and a renewed sense of confidence in their potential.

“This is one of the biggest growth opportunities you’ll have,” shared Hallie McCleave, past participant and current Marketing Manager. “In just a few days, you’ll make meaningful connections across the company, gain exposure to leaders at every level, and walk away with a whole new perspective on what’s possible in your role. The personal and professional growth is unmatched—and your visibility within the company will easily double. If you want to take that next step in your career, this is where you start.”
