Senior Vice President, Capital Markets

As Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, Ryan works to secure debt and equity capital for the firm’s active acquisitions and development program and existing portfolio activity.

In this role, he partners with the CIO and the Investment Committee to further the firm’s investment and capital raising strategies.

Ryan began his career in Capital Markets at Freddie Mac then later at Fannie Mae as an Agency CMBS trader for the Multifamily desk where he managed a portfolio covering all MF asset classes, including Student Housing. Prior to Student Quarters, Ryan was Managing Director for a structured finance and risk analytics company focused on business development and strategy, and a Managing Director for an early-stage commercial real estate fintech firm.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
