Shannon Failla

Vice President, Culture & Support

As Vice President of Culture & Support, Shannon provides counsel, develops roadmaps, and executes on all people, culture, and operations support related initiatives.

Shannon is responsible for driving all cultural initiatives, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement, and retention, learning and career development, and workforce planning. She leads Student Quarters’ support team, which oversees systems training, recruiting, project management, and property transitions.

Shannon has over 12 years of experience in the student housing space and has held various positions on-site and at the corporate level. Prior to joining Student Quarters, Shannon held multiple leadership roles at Cardinal Group Management (2013–2020) and founded SFive Consulting (2020).

Shannon earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011.
